Apex Legends, like most battle royales, segments its available loot and modes with a seasons system, and each season has a hard start and end date.

Seasons last about three months and typically introduce a new legend, balance changes, and battle pass. Seasons also often include new cosmetic items, weapons, maps, and more.

Starting with season five, released back in 2020, quests were added to the game. These daily and weekly goals help players accrue points toward the battle pass, which grants rewards for each level attained. Quests can also be aligned with collection or lore events and can feature their own trackers separate from that season’s battle pass.

The most recent season, called Ignite, kicked off on Oct. 31. It features the newest support legend Conduit, cross progression for all platforms, six new POIs on Storm Point, and the first update ever to the respawning system ever since Apex’s original launch in 2019.

Based on the in-game counter on the battle pass, Apex’s season 19 will last for 105 days, ending on Feb. 13, 2024. Players have a little over three months to complete the seasonal battle pass and collect all the associated rewards. Just like previous seasons, season 20 will immediately start after Ignite ends, with Respawn announcing the official launch time in the season gameplay trailers.
